New PERC Website Designed to Be ‘One-Stop Shop’


The Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) recently launched, a new, consolidated website with information about propane safety and news on propane-powered technologies.

Managed by PERC, the websitegathers and consolidates information from its other sites, including,,, and, which all redirect to Users can also use the “Find a Propane Retailer” application on the site to locate their nearest retailer by services provided and zip code.

Student transportation professionals can access the On Road Fleet Directory for information on: Propane ConversionsPrograms and IncentivesRefuelingSafety and Training, Case Studies and Fact Sheetsand more. They can also view recent webinars such as “Roush CleanTech Liquid Propane Autogas” and “CleanFuel USA eConnect.”

Propane autogas has been gaining ground in the school bus market, with many districts adopting the Blue Bird Propane Vision, and the new Thomas propane-autogas Saf-T-Liner C2 currently in productionCollins Bus Corporation was the first Type A school bus manufacturer to introduce propane models.
