19 Training Sessions Lined Up for Bendix In-Person Brake School in 2017

ELYRIA, Ohio – Bendix will offer 19 in-person Bendix® Brake Training School sessions from spring through fall 2017. Offered by Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems and Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake, this year’s training school opens Tuesday, March 21, in Owosso, Michigan. Classes are scheduled into November, with sessions in 14 U.S. states. Registration is open for the complete schedule, shown on the last page of this news release.

More than 250 school bus drivers at the Shenendehowa Central School District in upstate New York recently attended a new course that focuses on transporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students and fighting bullying.

School bus drivers make numerous decisions every day. The deadly Chattanooga crash on Nov. 21 underscores the weight of these decisions. Most crashes are caused by driver error. A dynamic exercise program can prepare drivers for the many incidents they may face, and can be done in an inexpensive way.
