Navistar Issues $200 Million of Its Senior Notes

LISLE, IL., – Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) today announced that it plans to issue, subject to market conditions, $200 million of its 8.25% senior notes due 2021 (the "notes"). The notes will be issued as additional notes under the indenture pursuant to which the company previously issued $1.3 billion aggregate principal amount of 8.25% senior notes due 2021 (the "existing senior notes"), of which $1.2 billion remains outstanding. The notes will be treated together with the existing senior notes as a single series of debt securities and will have the same terms as and be fungible with the existing senior notes.  The company expects to use the net proceeds of the offering for general corporate purposes, including working capital and capital expenditures.

Trans Tech and Southern Bus & Mobility Sign Exclusive Dealership Agreement

New Blue Bird Dealership in South Carolina

Columbia, S.C. — In a transaction that was completed on October 17, representation of Blue Bird’s dealership agreement in the South Carolina market has now been successfully transitioned from Palmetto Bus Sales to Blanchard Machinery. Blanchard Machinery, with over 30 years of business experience, will now sell and service Blue Bird school buses in the State of South Carolina under their Blanchard Bus Centers division. Palmetto Bus Sales of Gaston, SC remains a commercial bus dealer representing other bus manufacturers. While details of the transaction were not disclosed, Blanchard was named the dealer concurrent with the sale and will step into parts and bus sales immediately, along with becoming certified for service capability on the complete line of Blue Bird buses and powertrains.
